Church Opportunities

to Invest in God's Kingdom through STN

Phil. 4:15, 17 “ You yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the first preaching of the gospel, after I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone... Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek the profit which increases to your account.”

Become a Partnering Church

The ministry of Shepherding the Nations is strengthened through the faithful partnership of local churches that share our passion for equipping pastors and church leaders around the world. These churches are more than financial supporters—they are ministry partners who invest in the eternal work of making disciples and strengthening the global Church. Through their commitment to regular generous giving, they help provide biblical training, leadership development, and ministry resources where they are needed most. Through their faithful prayers, they encourage our directors, faculty, students, and graduates as they serve Christ in their communities. Together, we are advancing the Gospel, equipping leaders, and helping churches flourish for generations to come.

How Your Church Benefits through Gospel Partnership

Growing a Church's Heart for Missions

Partnering with a missions organization gives the church a tangible way to participate in the Great Commission. Rather than simply hearing about missions, you become personally invested through prayer, giving, and even participating in short term trips, growing relationships with ministry leaders and the people they serve.

Encouraging Spiritual Growth

As a church prays for pastors, church planters, and believers around the world, members gain a broader perspective of God's work. Hearing stories of faith, perseverance, and transformed lives inspires deeper trust in God and greater commitment to serving Him locally.

Providing Meaningful Stewardship

Does your church desire to invest its missions budget where it can have lasting, multiplying impact? Churches can be confident that their financial gifts are equipping leaders, strengthening local congregations, and expanding the reach of the Gospel.

Building Lasting Relationships

We have developed meaningful relationships with the directors and teachers selected to work with STN overseas. Our hope is that you will also develop personal connections that transforms missions from an abstract concept into a shared ministry with real people whose lives are being impacted.

Participating in Kingdom Multiplication

By equipping indigenous pastors and church leaders, churches become part of a ministry that continues long after a conference or training course ends. Every graduate has the potential to disciple others, strengthen existing churches, plant new churches, and equip future generations of believers.

Motivated to Share the Gospel

"Thank you very much for all your efforts, preparation, sacrifice and perseverance to bring the course to us all. As I was studying course #10 I was motivated to share the Gospel to people of different faiths in India. I was so stirred up that I am willing to give up my position as the principal of my school as I move out from church to church, teaching what I have been taught."
-J.S. - India

Making Disciples

“After studying course #10 the Lord gave me a burden to serve in the church by ‘making disciples’. I am so excited to mention that a new church is planted on November 2nd in a village called ‘L.’ I have another challenge to see another church planted in a village called ‘R’"
-Pastor D., -India

Sponsor a Director

Shepherding the Nations has identified faithful international, national, and regional directors who are already serving as pastors, church planters, and ministry leaders throughout Southeast Asia and Latin America. These men have been equipped to teach our ten-volume biblical training curriculum and are strategically positioned to equip indigenous pastors, mentor church leaders, and strengthen local churches across their regions.

group

We are seeking churches that will embrace one of these directors as a long-term ministry partner. Because our directors already live and minister in the regions they serve, the monthly support needed is significantly less than that required to send and sustain a traditional cross-cultural missionary. Yet their influence extends to countless pastors, church leaders, and congregations as they teach, disciple, and encourage indigenous leaders who will continue multiplying the Gospel in their own communities.

Would your church prayerfully consider becoming the primary sending and supporting church for one of our directors? Those who provide support for our directors will receive profile information so that they can pray by name for our directors and their families. Through faithful prayer and monthly financial support, your congregation can make a lasting Kingdom investment by equipping a proven leader whose ministry is strengthening churches and raising up the next generation of pastors.

Equip a Pastor with Biblical Resources

During our training programs, each pastor and ministry leader receives our ten-volume curriculum from the Biblical Training Centre for Pastors (BTCP) in his or her own language. In addition, we provide essential ministry resources, including a Study Bible and Bible Concordance, giving valuable tools to equip them to faithfully study, teach, and shepherd their congregations.

Thanks to the generosity of our ministry partners, we have been able to place these resources into the hands of pastors who would otherwise be unable to afford them. Individual books can be provided for approximately $10, while a complete set of curriculum and ministry resources costs about $150.

This is also a wonderful opportunity for children, youth groups, Sunday school classes, Christian schools, and college students to participate in global missions. By raising funds for a book—or even an entire set—they can personally help equip a pastor with resources that will strengthen churches and impact lives for years to come. It's a tangible way for the next generation to take part in the Great Commission and see how even a small gift can make an eternal difference.
